The Brain and Personality

Since

this section of the reserve mentioned hippocampus along using its supposed

role of storing remembrances, it reminds me of a dilemma I acquired when I

was once reading articles on flatworms. According to the article,

a flatworm includes a very rudimentary sort of memory within its human body,

which allowed the supposed immediate transference of memory whenever a

flatworm was fed the flesh of another flatworm that had opted through

the Pavlovian conditioning. (Possibly if the ex - flatworm hadn't gone

through such conditioning, it started out showing the expected behaviors of

the latter flatworm when it had been fed with the flesh of the latter.)

Given

the consequence of this observation, I ponder if the mammalian organ of

hippocampus is actually completely demand of the phenomenon we call

“memory,” around this kind of memory and even the

transference of such recollection occurred in a creature such as a flatworm,

which plainly lacks a hippocampus. IРІР‚в„ўd suspect a hippocampus

isn't “synonymous” with memory, but could be an organ of

enhancement upon this subject.

Brain Damage

Given

that the majority of breakthroughs in neuro-scientific neurology were the effect

of human brain damages in battlefields as our textbook says, I wonder if

having less wars in the West after 1950s slowed up the development

of neurology later on. There still might
